As Supervisor Sam will:

  • Fight for responsible development that benefits Goshen families, not the unaccountable power brokers.

  • Serve as a full-time Supervisor. Sam’s only job will be fighting for you, with no outside conflicts of interest.

  • Improve infrastructure for a more connected & more livable Goshen.

  • Call for a moratorium on warehouse development in Goshen.

  • Work so that people who live in Goshen can stay in Goshen, so your children can raise their own families close to home.

  • Support local police as they protect Goshen and ensure that all laws are respected, from building and zoning to protections against federal or state overreach.

Goshen is one of the Hudson Valley’s most beautiful communities—a place defined by rolling farmland, historic neighborhoods, and a small‑town character that people genuinely cherish. Its charm comes from the balance between open space, a vibrant village center, and the sense of continuity that ties generations together. But in recent years, that balance has been strained by a wave of accelerating development that has too often prioritized large outside interests over the needs of everyday residents. Projects that bring heavy traffic, low‑quality jobs, or industrial impacts have moved forward while working families see little benefit in return. The result is a growing disconnect between the Goshen people love and the direction in which development has been allowed to drift. Many residents feel that the pace and type of growth no longer reflect the community’s values or long‑term interests, and that the public has not been meaningfully included in shaping the town’s future. As Goshen continues to evolve, the central challenge is ensuring that growth strengthens the community rather than eroding what makes it special.
